Need Your HELP~!

Hi im a upcoming sophomore student from Northeastern Univ. (in boston)

I got 3.7 gpa in my first seme of freshmen yr and 3.2 second seme( accumulative gpa is about 3.5) BUT Im gonna try to make my gpa higher in my sophomore yr.

I did really bad in my HS and got only 23 in my ACT

BUT i wanna transfer to a better school like BC, USC Emory for Jr. year

DO you think i should apply? or after i retake all the tests like SAT and ACT?

Any other schools you think its good for me ? ?

Thank you for your time and advice~!!

I don’t think you have to retake your ACT. You are a sophomore in college. Even though a 23 is not amazing, SAT is so high school; many schools (like UC Berkeley, USC) don’t even look at it for junior transfer). Don’t waste time studying for the SAT. Instead, spend the time getting an internship, doing research, making money, or studying for your college exams.

The SAT was really designed only to measure performance in the first year of college (which it does not do very well), a pretty useless purpose anyways, and you have already completed your first year.

Also USC throws out your HS grades after 30 college credits
