<p>High School junior son starting to look at schools. Is interested in staying east coast, probably no further north than Pa. (we are in Virginia) Loves the state of South Carolina from frequent vacations there. Is interested in a career that involves art, but doesn't want to major in fine art. He is looking into architecture, industrial design, or media art. We have read that USC and Clemson are schools that are great as far as possibly getting in state tuition for an OOS student given the right academic criteria. He is a very strong student- (3.9 UW gpa, PSAT scores not in yet, swims year round- may want to swim in college if he is fast enough....etc, etc) Does anyone have any info on the media arts program at South Carolina? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!</p>
