Needing help how to get into FIT

<p>I want to apply to Fashion Institute of Technology but I want to know what need done and if it's hard to get into with my current “status”.</p>

<p>I graduated High School but instead I received an IEP (Individualized Education Program) diploma. I passed my GED, and now I have a GED diploma but now I want to apply to my dream school and I’m not sure if I could get in. What do I need to get done to get into FIT? (I want to major in Photography or Fashion Merchandising Management)</p>

<p>I have a good friend who went to FIT. I remember him taking classes there on the weekends, building his portfolio, and taking any internship he could get for about two years before he was accepted.</p>
