There are a lot of emotions wrapped up in the college admissions process, for both the student and parents. There can be moments of high anxiety for all involved along the way. If your options are affordable to your family, let the process unfold. You don’t have to make a final decision until May 1. You and your parents are going to have emotions all over the map, some days you and/or they will have a lot of confidence in the ability to handle what is to come, and other days not so much. It is a process and the feelings associated are always changing. It kind of means you love each other.
