alright alright, down boy. hahahaha!

oorah, you mind making a thread titled “picking up girls 101”

ehh like 90% of the korean girls i know have some type of cosmetic surgery or want surgery.

and leper- i was kinda like one of those guys. she knew i couldnt really pay for everything so she offered to help a lot and it was kinda weird. and her parents like me, they still do actually.

in all seriousness… I guess that the stereotype of korean girls/plastic surgery is true. :(

guyy — yeah, i know it’s hard to bring that up.

for prom, I had to go behind my bf’s back and pay for the limo. he already paid for flowers, the tickets and pictures. i had to do something, all of his tutoring money was going out the window.

he got pretty upset when he found out, until he realized that i was just trying to help.

but i’m not looking for plastic surgery. i’m not a hot stunnah (not stunner, but stunnah). i might as well be comfortable with my own body and let my future hubby know that what he sees is what he gets. like if i had a huge nose and get a nose job, then when my kids pop out and they’ve got a honker to beat, well, i’d hate to try to explain then…

You should have told your boyfriend to go home and take a money bath… that’s what I always to to make myself feel better.

uhmuhnah! yeh jom bah! hahaha ![]()
sigh, I’m one white-washed asian..

I was talked into doing it by a couple family members and so I thought, what the heck why not. The procedure’s so common now that it’s become equivalent to getting braces - which is actually more expensive in the long run.

Man. As the future sole “breadwinner” in my relationship for a while (med student fianc

samus,

Actually, the incidence rate of eyelid surgery is very high in Korea too.

The notion that the bicanthal fold is prized only because of “white looks” is not entirely true. “Double eyelids” were prized amongst women in Northeast Asia long before the effects of white standards of beauty crept into Asian cultures.

hahaha. same high school bf took me out to dinner once and pulled the chair out. so i moved over to the other chair, he stood there looking completely flustered and embarrassed and said, “I pulled the chair out for you.”

i started to laugh, he never did these kind of things. so I got up, sat down in that chair and he sat in the chair that I ended pulling out.

sometimes… jeez…

lol how sweet. (you never heard me use that word) 10 points for effort!

that reminds me, i used to open the car door for this girl and after the 2nd or 3rd time every time we were close to the car she would race me there and try to open the door before i did. ohh the memories this thread brings..

samus - are u prettier now?

are ur lids high like caucasian or lower like asians? (small/big crease?)

how much did u pay
