<p>Anyone have luck negotiating financial aid based on better offers from other schools?</p>
<p>My boyfriend wants to come to UCLA, but Cal offered him much, much more gift aid. I know it's a long-shot, but is there anyway he can make an appeal to the aid office about this? I mean, he's getting offered thousands of dollars more from a higher-ranked school... and UCLA offered him ****.</p>
<p>Did some of you had similar dilemmas?</p>
