Wher are you guys applyin'?
Chosen any safety????

all right...define 'ok' percentage and 'great' test scores. is below 70 considered ok? I haven't take the subject tests. Reed replied saying it no longer requires TOEFL and subject tests but both are strongly recommended re. now i know what 'strongly recommended' means. and if i opt to take subhject tests, take english and two other of my choice re. so that means i'll have to take literatue. has anyone take literature here? how is it? News Flash: Reedfreak hasn't even REGISTERED for the toefl. i'm going down down down. now reed isn't the only college i'm applying and other safeties( st.cloud, minnesota, st.john's minnesota, uni of michigan...) and they need toefl. i'm thinking of taking the ibt, i heard when the registration re-opens, registration will be open for ibt too. any suggestions??? and i'm thinking of taking physics or biology or history for the subject tests. not really sure about history, but just in case i get like below 700 in phy...with history i can pull off a pretty decent score.

^^^will u be applyin fo fin-aids or noT ? minnesota, Umichigan -don give aid to intels (merit-schol.. is anotha story), and in others dat u've mentioned, aid is very limited.

"If your percentage is OK and SAT score is great , it may be OK"
I was just trying to be nice.

Reed 25 to 75 percentile scores
Verbal 660 760
Math 620 710

So get a better score than that and your damn +2 percentage is covered.

thanks comfy, that was comforting...and i decided against taking history, i'm not interested in SAT type history. so it's gonna be physics, biology(general) and literature. how is literature?? hasn't anyone here taken that??? hey and i read Reed's president's article, he avidly supports test scores...yay!!!

if someone gets a full tuition scholarship at Reed, is there a chance that his/her visa might be rejected?? STUPID QUESTION!!!! i mean yeah there is a chance, but it's unlikely, right?? ok i think i answered my question. still...throw something..

"how is literature?"

I heard someone took it from our college. She was the english editor of our college yearbook but got something like 510 or 480 . I don't know for sure but she got seriously less marks.

super time management prob in almost all sec. this sounds toooooo hilarious but it happened with me and i was like drowning in the sea of sweatsss. This was my 1st time and it wasn't good at all, I justttt didn't took it seriously and practiced (celebrating our festive season at the same time) only for 1.5 weeks and that paid me harrrrddd.
i'm given again maybe in jan.

^^ typo -- i'm giving again maybe in Jan.
