I know I may just be overly paranoid, and this may sound stupid but is it bad that I didn’t write out the number “4” as “four” in my CommonApp essay? Is that unprofessional? This is an app for a school that has around 40,000 applicants so I doubt they will even notice it right? I know this is probably a stupid question, but hey you know how stressful college apps can be
I wrote out numbers in other parts of my essay but when I was writing “4-year institution” I just didn’t. I did this twice
Chill. If a school would reject you for that, I wouldn’t want to go there. It will more than likely have no effect.
No effect. None whatsoever. I wouldn’t even have noticed if you hadn’t specifically mentioned it.
You should finally be able to get a good night’s sleep.
No one will have a problem with seeing 4 instead of four.
Thanks guys! Just a little post-submission anxiety lol
No effect at all. Don’t mind it. As long as your essay is good, then those things would be ignored.
@jyjyap, the OP’s application was either accepted or rejected over a month ago, so it’s a little late for advice! The mods will soon be telling you not to respond to old posts.
