Nervous/Anxious Thread

also, helix, I wouldnt send that in. I dont think it looks that good, and it probably wont help. Unless it related BIG TIME to something else in your app.

so what i'm trying to say is, Why do you feel its so important to send that in?

26e, I could see myself at Pitt, and I hear their Honors college is great as well. Thanks for the heads up about the housing forms.........that never would have occurred to me.

Regarding my new Editor position, I just think it's my strongest activity and the one I dedicate the most time to. One of my supp. recs was from the newspaper adviser. Since I've moved around so much, it's been virtually impossible to get any leadership positions, and I've worked 3x as hard to get the ones I have, so I guess I just wanted them to know that I managed to become an Editor in a really short period of time because of my dedication.

Maybe that's pretentious, and it won't affect me anyway?

Thanks for the congrats:)

I think they should definitely know about it. You can email your regional representative with the update and they will add it to your file. I had a friend do that exact same thing this week. Email addresses are available by calling the Admissions Office.

^ Thanks for the second opinion:) I guess now that I explained the situation you guys can understand where I'm coming from a little bit better.

yep. and it sounds like u were smart and left CC alone when it was spazzing out? i kept coming back, and it drove me bananas :(

how do i find out what my regional director's email is?

I checked once a day, and hated seeing that message in the red letters. I did miss the CC support group we've got going here, lol.

On the other hand, I did regain my sanity for a few days, but alas, it is not to last........

on the contrary, CC may be keeping me sane

really?

yeah, really (sad, truly)

haha...i now come to CC just for fun - i've kind of given up hope of ever getting in, but i just love this group so much that i keep coming back! >.<

haha. have hope!

haha, thx 26e, i'll try!

My team lost last night 4-3!!!! Now I'm a referee, and I always support my fellow refs, but that game a crap. Normally, high school refs suck, but they suck evenly. I doubt they threw the game, but that was the most one-sided refereeing I've EVER seen...and we still only lost by 1!! What crap!

last year i was soccer manager and i learned how to watch soccer (i am the most UNathletic person ever, so i participate by watching) i remember how our coach would get so mad at one-side refereeing...but then there was this other referee who would always listen to whatever calls we yelled out (haha, that was funny)...and i remember how one of our girls got about 5 yellow cards throughout the season...yea, that was an interesting time...

yeah. as a ref, I find it almost impossible to doubt integrity. for these guys, idk....it reminds me of some war (well....like that crappy Die Hard) movies. There were only two, and the older one (say, 33?) was just OBVIOUS. The younger one (24?) didn't seem like he was in on it.

I need to get my driver's license, then I'll need gasoline.
