1310 SAT(660 v, 650m) HORRENDOUS SAT 2's : 630 Bio, 620 writing, 570 math
3 varsity sports, lost of community service yada yada
3.6 GPA UW, maybe around a 3.9 weighted??
im applying to
George Washington
Tufts
Puget Sound
Vassar
NYU
BU
Cornell ( for fun)

Tufts, Vassar, NYU, and Cornell are clearly going to be reaches because they are all very competitive schools. I think you have a very good chance at George Washington and BU. I can't comment on puget sound because i've never heard of it or can find its admissions info on hand. Well, to say more about NYU. Your SAT1s are well within its median range and you definately have the GPA to go there, but your SAT2s aren't strong as you know and NYU is very picky about board scores. Best of luck!

Hey...don't stress. That's my math score (I should have taken the IC), and the fact that your family has some alumni status WILL help. Remember that you have Christmas break to get whatever you need done - good luck!

Tufts has a nice legacy program. You've got a strong chance. Try and schedule an interview and show some more interest and you'd have a really nice shot.

Tufts is competitive, cornell is supposedly the easiest Ivy to get into. I'd suggest retaking either the SAT Is or IIs (probably Is) this January and try to get above a 1400. Then, everything else looks good.

IIs are used mainly for placement in most schools. You should be alright.
