<p>Am involved in the Friendship connection program which involves hosting a German student for a month and then traveling to Germany for a month.</p>

<p>You’re in (URM, ECs, prof connection).</p>

<p>You’re definitely not automatically in, that GPA will hurt your chances, but with all of your other EC’s and scores, you seem to have a pretty good shot.</p>

<p>I’d say almost definitely in (one can never be sure, but you are an ideal candidate). You’re everything the SFS wants in a student. Who cares about your screw-up freshman year. Maybe address that in your essay. You’ve certainly more than made up for it in your remaining years.</p>
