Well, I am exceptionally worried about my chances for getting into St. Pauls and Exeter. SPS is my first choice, but I love Exeter, too. Anyway, I took the SSAT a while ago and my scores were
98-Reading
92-English/Lit
59-Math
I just retook them, but don't know what I got yet. I do think I did loads better in math (which is what I am freaking out about). So I was wondering, if I do bad in the English portion, but good in the math, will they take the best overall score from each category from each test date, or just the last score they receive?
Also, my interviews were amazing, SPS lasted 30 or more minutes and the interviewer told my mom, "It's so rare to find a child who can confidently and clearly talk to an adult." and the PEA interview lasted an HOUR or more when there was a huge crowd of other kids waiting! They both said they would give their highest recommendations.
Essays,I think I did fairly well. I wrote about how I love to write fiction for one, and how my community has taught me to trust and love and question all at once for another. I also wrote about when I stood up to my parents in the middle of an argument.
Grades, my average was a 94 when submitted.
Recommendations from teachers: I have right to believe they were excellent.
Other: I have been on the boys varsity golf team since 7th grade (I am a girl!)
I play bassoon and clarinet, and I am first chair bassoon for North Country Band
My current school is a lackluster public high school with testing scores in the low 20th percentiles. :( I always scored in the 95th-99th percentile for the state/country.
I am manager for the nordic ski team (I would ski but I broke my wrist)
My family is not strong financially, so I would also need quite a bit of financial aide.

So please, chance me FAIRLY and HONESTLY!!! Thank you.
