oh and chance for CU Boulder President’s Scholarship

THANKYOUUUUUUU!

I really like your chances for everything with the exception of UNC and Penn.

You have a shot at both, especially since your bro goes to Penn. They are both just so hard to get into, particularly if you live Out of State, but you sure do have a chance.

Chance me back!

Oh, and if your as smart as your grades say, you should be able to get your SAT scores into the 2100 range. That’s a necessity if you want to go to Penn or UNC.

^I agree^
Great chances for most, with exception of Penn + UNC both really hard to get in no matter how great you are. If you can get the scores up, 2100+ your chances will greatly improve :)

Chance back:

UNC-CH, dream school(legacy - outofstate - early action):high match/low reach
UVA (instate):?
Wake Forest: match
William and Mary (instate):match
Virginia Tech (instate):match
Clemson:match
UPenn (long shot i know, brother attends): reach

Chance me back pls?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/912361-chance-me-ivies-other-schools-new-member-here.html</a></p>

Thanks! I chanced you guys back.
Just wondering - does anyone know how much legacy could help me at unc? my mom and grandfather went there, along with 2 aunts, one uncle, and the other uncle currently works with the computers there…

That certainly is quite a legacy! I would say that is the sort of thing that would make it a mid match for you, especially considering your qualifications. W&M and VT are definitely low matches or even safeties. UVA is pretty good, a lot of kids got rejected from my school this year, with better GPA/SAT, so I would call it a reach. I dont know about Clemson, but Penn is a high reach.

Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/898730-chances-duke-penn-cornell.html</a></p>

The only schools I really know that you’re asking to be chanced for are Wake, UNC, and Clemson. I say you have a great shot at getting accepted to UNC. There have been many people accepted there from the school I go to with stats not nearly as impressive as yours. And yes, they do have restrictions on the amount of Out-of-state students they accept, but with your stats, your chances are extremely high. I think you’ll also get accepted at Wake, and Clemson.

Good luck! :)

I think you have a great shot at every school with the exception of Penn and UNC. As others have said, definitely try to pull up your SATs to the 2100+ range, which should be pretty easy for you to do, as all your scores are high 600s just put them past 700 and you should be fine. If you do that, you have a much better chance.
