Nervous talk

Hey everyone...

As decisions begin to roll in... I though I should start a thread where people could talk while they wait for the mail

I think it could be kinda interesting.... so... if you are nervous... dont know what to do with yourself while you wait..... say something here

I’m pickin up what you’re layin down…

living all the way in texas… should i expect tuesday??!

i’m so excited, cause i invited to spring vis, but i’m worried that there’s still the change of rejection and i’ll be super crushed since spring vis gave me extremely high hopes

ah ah ah

Sighhhhhhhh so nervous

Me toooo ahhhh

haha kwantran, i think you’re in :)

I was never a nail biter, and now they are so short it hurts :P

i am DYING, i live in Washington DC so I am PRAYING to get it in the mail today since someone in CT got theirs and if I have to wait til Monday I may have a panic attack or just go crazy with anticipation!!! GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!! I hope we all get good news!!!

ok i live about 100 miles away (chicago) still have not gotten mine, maybe today???

Living in FL… 1,051 miles from Notre Dame (we’ve driven it). Coming today mabye?? Most of the stuff I’ve gotten from them thus far only took 2 or 3 days. Anyone else feel that the mailman isn’t worthy of delivering these letters? Plus, mine just kinda shoves things in, bending anything that’s bigger than the box so he doesn’t have to go to the door. But, I’m hoping for a bent letter… 'cause then it’s a yes. Babbling now… I’m SO NERVOUS!!!

cubsfan08- I live in chicago too and for EA they mailed the letters on thursday and it made it to Chicago that saturday! Good luck to all!!

I live in Wisconsin… and still nothing.
I got my EA deferral on Saturday, too. So I was hoping I would get the letter today, but alas…maybe this means it’s a big envelope.

irish i got mine in minnesota so i dont know what that means

congrats to those who got in!

nothn here yet

I have to wait till tomorrow too.. hopefully it comes tomorrow though! but i wont be home to see it. that means my mom will be the first to find out. and then on top of that i have speech and debate after school so its not like i can come home and (HOPEFULLY) celebrate or (HOPEFULLY NOT) cry. i think ill go read some harry potter to calm me down.

ha I wish I could just go read, but I have to work today.
I lifeguard so it’s pretty much just 20 min of time to yourself thinking and staring at people swim then you rotate to the next spot and do it again for 4 hours.
Then I get to come home and try to take an old 3 hour AP Stats exam that I’ve put off all break and is due Mon at 8am.
Awesome. I can’t focus on anything.
Maybe I’ll skip tomorrow.
I’ll be in no condition to do track if I’m accepted or not.

“I’ll be in no condition to do track if I’m accepted or not.”

so true irish. i dont run track but i have debate practice and if im accepted ill be too giddy and excited to focus and if im rejected ill just be a mess. omg how does a college have such power over us

I’ll be in no condition to do anything until I know… and probably for a while after I know. I’ll either be so excited that I got in that I’ll be doodling ND all over my papers, or so depressed that I’ll… I don’t know what I’ll be doing, but it won’t be paying attention. Well, approximately 19 hours now… supposing the mail comes when expected. I can’t tell you how nervous I am. I have prayed for this every night since I submitted my app… all 113 days ago. Good luck to everyone who’s still waiting, and congrats to all who got in!!

School is gonna be just awful tomorrow!

we’ll get through it…

Oh, I need a sedative!!

But yes, time passes at a constant rate despite the attempts of humans to make it otherwise. Not to sound like a cheesy Disney movie (no offense to anyone who likes it) but, We’re all in this together!

You know what the worst would be? Speeding home and there being NOTHING in the mailbox and having to tough out another day. I bet that will happen to me :frowning: I seem to get my letters a day later than everyone else
