I'm taking the SAT for the third time in October and I'm extremely nervous.
I feel so much pressure to improve my score by a lot (I have a 1940 now and I'm looking for a 2050+ at least) and my worst fear is that I'm going to choke when it's my last chance to do well.
I know I'm going to be well prepared, but I really don't want to panic and do poorly just because of my nerves.
I don't want to take it a fourth time because I also have to get my subject tests in, so it really is my last shot at getting a great score.
So my question is, does anyone have any tips on staying calm and getting in the right mindset the day of the test?
I'm nervous about getting nervous! it's ridiculous, but I'm sure I'm not the only one with test anxiety and any kind of helpful advice would be appreciated.

A bit of nervousness is always good, it get my adrenaline up. One thing I do that gets my spirits up (and may counter your nervousness) is to laugh at the more absurd answer choices (not out loud of course!!).

That's actually a good idea haha, I'll have to try that.

Everyone feels nervous when the test is coming. But sometimes it may influence your thinking. I'm usually nervous when being stuck at math question and stay for so long

The same thing happens to me. Typically I'm the most nervous in the math and during the essay. It just overwhelms me and I really think it does affect my performance.
