Nervous Wreck Senior looking for Kenyon chances?

<p>Me: female, Hispanic
From Texas- Applying ED1</p>

<p>My GPA is 102.something weighted Top 9%
ACT- 31 English-27 Math-29 Reading-35 Science-31 Writing-Hasn't come out yet
SAT 1900: CR: 670 M:640 WR:590(really low I know), but I got an 11 on the esssay</p>

<p>I've taken all pre-AP and AP classes all of high school with all A's. This year I'm taking AP English IV, Government, Eco, Calculus BC AP and DC Biology II</p>

<p>AP US History- 5, AP English III - 5</p>

<p>Sports
Track sophmore and freshman year, but then I was injured</p>

<p>Clubs
Harry Potter Alliance - President and founder (This isn't just a Harry Potter fanclub fyi)
Leo Club - 2 years - freshman and sophomore representatives
Asian Club- treasurer
Mu Alpha Theta
National Honor Society
National Science Honor Society</p>

<p>Community Service
I volunteer at my local animal shelter and have plenty of hours from that, and a lot of the clubs above also do community services. </p>

<p>Work Experience
Chick-fil-A for about 15 hrs a week
Sonic Drive-In about 30 hrs a week</p>

<p>My essays are good and creative, but obviously not the best things I have ever written, but my teacher recommendations are really good and talk up my writing skills a lot which I think could help.
I've visited, been on a tour, and have had an admission interview that went really well. </p>

<p>INTERESTS: Anthropology, religious studies, history.</p>

<p>You seem to have a high enough ACT and good enough grades. Your ECs are good too, but you really need something to make you pop out, something unique.</p>

<p>You seem to be a very good student I wouldn’t stress it as long as you did well on your application you should have no problem getting into Kenyon. I am a current freshman here and I know what it was like last year going through all this and what you should do now is take a deep breath and relax the next month is going to feel like forever if you don’t have confidence that you did your best.</p>

<p>If you don’t get in, it will be because of Kenyon’s financial concerns. You’ve got the numbers and stuff, so don’t sweat it.</p>
