Does anyone know of any NESCAC schools with marching or pep bands? I really like those New England liberal arts colleges, but I wouldn’t want to go to a school without a band. Are there any NESCAC schools with a band?

Most of these schools have pep bands… but they’ll be relatively small and low-key. Don’t expect the Big 10-type huge marching bands at any of the NESCACs. If you’re fine with just a chill pep band, you should be fine… just know that it ain’t gonna be a Michigan or OSU.
I’m not totally sure Bates College has a pep band. My daughter has been to a few games (she’s a first-year) and hasn’t seen one – then again, if it’s super-casual, the pep band might not have shown up for those games, but I would expect a pep band at football games, and she’s told me there hasn’t been one. (If there is, I would be interested to know, because S26 will have the same question.)

Are Villanova and Lehigh part of this college group? They have pep bands, I believe.
