Net ID

I'm a transfer student and just recently sent in my deposit... do you guys know how long it takes Cornell to process a deposit and provide you with your Net ID? Also, do they e-mail you your Net ID or do you just receive it by mail?

Thanks!

From Virginia, it took about 1 and a half weeks to get the net id from when I sent in my deposit (I heard the max is about 2 weeks). They only send it to you in the mail.

In CT, D mailed the acceptance check on Monday and received NetID and activation code in the mail yesterday.

If my name is in the student directory (it wasn’t there a few days ago) can I assume that they received my deposit?

When they sent you your net id, does it come with other stuff as well such as orientation information and etc?

I received my Net ID a little over a week after I sent in my deposit. It was just a small envelope with a short letter and the Net ID information. No big packet or other information, that will come later I suspect.

^when did you sent your deposit? how long did it take for u to get ur net id info?

I have sent in my deposit last saturday. How long do you think I will get my NetID? Do they sent it by snail mail?

NetID is sent via postal mail…I would give it a week or so.

just got my net id, sent deposit on the 23rd, they received on 30th, got it today on the 7th. so 2 weeks

i sent my deposit out on the 1st of may, and just got my net id today! =] i didn’t think it’d come this early…but then again ithaca is only about 2 hours away.
