Net Price Calculator

Has any current Cornell student had any experience with the Net Price Calculator? Was it accurate? I ask because given other like universities they do not seem very generous with aid.

Thanks in advance.

its fairly accurate. I got a little more than the estimator predicted.

For me too the calculator was pretty close, I got about 2000 more than what was calculated. It can also be changed depending on if you have extenuating circumstances.

Bump. I’m a high school senior who is considering applying to Cornell, and I’m also wondering how accurate the NPC @Cornell’s website is compared to the actual grant package you received.

DD financial aid package was about $4000 a year less than what the calculator predicted.

After the FAFSA was filled out and the identical numbers were put in the calculator it was still about $4000 less.

@ClassOf2015HS‌ the calculator was not accurate for me. We are getting about 10-15,000 dollars less than anticipated (ie getting virtually no aid). Appealing didn’t work. Just be forewarned.

If you fill it out right, it should be VERY close (mine was almost exactly what the final package was)

Its pretty accurate, ( plus or minus a thousand or two )
