Net Price Calculators...How Accurate?

Title says pretty much all of it. Specifically, net price calculators for University of Pennsylvania, Duke, Northwestern and maybe some other Ivies

Thanks for the help

The city where the college is at plays a huge role in how much your living expenses will be. So does your standards in the quality of apartment and food you want. Those calculators are just based on the average. Same goes for books. Some professors want you to buy the $200 book they authored, and others will let you get the old edition for $20 because they post their own homework problems. It really just depends.

Well…it depends. If your parents are divorced, your parents are self employed or own a business, your parents own real estate in addition to your primary residence…the NPCs are not particularly accurate.
