<p>I guess it can be significant, however I think it might have been a miscommunication somewhere. On their website the scholarship (Presidential) was clearly listed as being $12k/yr, while the NPC listed the same scholarship as being $15k/yr. There was a Dean’s Scholarship available for $15k/yr so maybe the college lowered the value of the Presidential but the NPC wasn’t updated.</p>
<p>However, I ended up getting a special grant that covered the difference. </p>
<p>Then again, many of my classmates aren’t sweating $3k (which makes me feel slightly uncomfortable sometimes but mostly grateful that the college is footing most of the bill compared to being nearly full pay like a lot of girls.)</p>
