NetID Database Glitch?

So I just went on a mad dash to try to find a sorta-friend’s NetID (she misplaced the email), and stumbled across something interesting. There’s a database you can access with EVERYONE’s NetIDs and names and locations, and some people had Abu Dabhi or Shanghai or New York, while others said (empty).

Those who are enrolled at NYU and studying abroad have their study abroad location listed, so that leads me to assume that those with (empty) are not attending NYU. My friend had New York City listed and she finds out in about an hour, so we don’t know if she’s been accepted or not.

I’m wondering if this could be another glitch indicating admission or rejection.

[This is the database.](NYU ServiceLink) If you click on the little magnifying glass next to the “Requester” field, the database pops up and you can search by name.
