<p>So I was trying to set up my Duke email, which I found out via that earlier thread, but it says I need a Net ID (alphanumeric) and a password. Have any of you gotten these two tidbits of info yet, and if so, where?</p>
<p>Oh yea, today I got a letter from Duke, but it only had my Student ID, which is not alphanumeric.</p>

<p>last year, my netid (the alphanumeric) and preset password around end of may, so it will be coming.
Student ID is a series of just numbers, you will hardly ever use it and you don't need to memorize it since it is on ur dukecard.</p>
<p>I would go to duke's website and check with OIT, you should def. have your Net ID by now, it's what allows you to register and access any protected Duke sites. OIT (Office of Information Technology) should be able to help you.</p>
