I've forgotten my NetID although I have it documented, it apparantly doesn't work. I was wondering how long (in characters) it needs to be or if there is any limit. When ever I try to type my Net ID into the NetID login screen it automatically tells me I'm wrong....even though I signed into it a month ago.

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I already called and got some disgruntled woman telling me I needed to send photo ID in an email...and so on. I don't want to do that. I just want to login, accept the offer, and sign up for housing (which even when I could login into my account wouldn't let me sign in...). I'm frustrated with Oasis...It's done nothing but raise my blood pressure.

There are instructions in attached link below on what to do if you forgot your NetID. Remember your NetID is different than your USF ID #. My Net ID is 8 characters. Poke through the link and you should be able to figure out how to get in system. If you still have trouble figuring things out, phone USF’s Information Technology help line and they’ll walk you through it. Toll free: 866 974-1222, or regular # 813 974-1222. USF IT is in the main library and you might be able to still catch them late tonight.

Thank you so much. I was in fact able to catch them this late (after almost an hour of plugging ANYTHING I could think of.) It took about an hour to resolve through emails and I’m definitely pleased with the fast response. A much better experience than the one I had on the phone.
