Netpay and bursar question....

I see the bill on the bursar window of uportal, but what about Netpay? Does anyone know when it'll be posted on Netpay? Thanks

right now they are going through the billing process...

are you a freshman or upperclassman?

sophomore transfer...

ya I can't see my bill on Netpay either...

i heard it's going to be up by Monday : )

ooo cool =}

Did you guys sign up for Netpay?

Is this the correct site? https://bosebill.salliemae.com/NetPay/Templates/313/frameset313.html

It says my account cannot be found?

Also, does CORNELL INSTALLMENT PLAN involve a fee? I can't seem to find it in the FAQ.

Thanks a lot!

the installment plan has an $80 fee...I think there was a letter sent already...

I think everyone has to sign up for Netpay or else they can't see his or her official tuition bill, although the Cornell installment plan is optional.

When you register for Netpay, use your "Cornell ID#" under your personal information on uportal rather than your "student ID#"

does anyone else's bill not include financial aid? they said in FAQ that it probably means the office hasn't received some paperwork, but the financial aid office has already sent me the final statement suggesting that they HAVE all the necessary documents...

Mine doesn't include financial aid either. Apparently, Federal loans aren't disbursed until ten days before classes start, whenever that is. University and Perkins loans apparently require an MPN, as does the Direct loan, but for some reason the site keeps on telling me that there's no open promissory note for me to sign (*!). My TAP should be okay, and on UPortal it says to check HESC.gov, but there it says that it's up to Cornell to give out that grant (again, *??), and most importantly, Cornell hasn't given out its grants yet. This is kind of frustrating, I hope we don't end up having to pay a large amount up front before receiving aid...

If you have recieved your financial aid package then you don't have to worry about paying the undisbursed loans or grants because it will show up on your bill as pending creidts and you won't be charged any finance charges.
And for students who have not recieved their financial aid letter(which includes myself), i am sure you will recieve it by August 12 which is the due date for the first bill!

"August 12 which is the due date for the first bill!"

wait I thought it was Aug. 7th! hmmm

You are right! The due date for July bill is August 7th!

do we have to accept loans or are they automatically given to us? sorry im sort of off topic.

Sarahhh, I'm pretty sure we have to accept them, although the sites for Perkins and University loans aren't letting me...

I see my bill on NetPay.

Can I still sign up for the installment payment or will I have to pay in full since I already received the bill?

Confused.

I think you can still sign up for the CIP, but since the payments for the plans have already started you will have to pay the previous payments (back payments) along with the current bill... so it'll be a bit higher than what you would normally pay each month, still not as bad as paying in bulk tho lol

^ I called up and that's exactly what they said.

Good looking out. TY!
