i got a letter telling me to go to www.emory.edu/ITD/newid.html-- and i put in the requested info but they have no info on me and no place for me to register--- any of you have simialr problems?

If you got the same letter I did... then you should go to https://psoftsa.cc.emory.edu/ .... and put in the username / password in the letter. Good luck bro.

It worked fine for me, I got that same letter and after inputting my SSN and DOB it gave me what I needed...

Maybe contact office of admissions, it's possible you had a typo on your application in either the DOB or SSN which would be different from what you're inputing now.

How quickly does this letter come with a user name and password? Son finished his application tonight. But when he inserted his DOB and SS # at the web address you've listed, they said there was no such person on file....

It took about four days after I submitted my app for the website to list my information, etc. But the letters came almost two weeks later.

Thanks. Son will give it a few days and then try to access the site through his birthdate and social security #.

The same thing is happening to me..

My DOB and sss# is correctly typed in but they say they dont have anyone w/ those numbers w/ emory or something.. and i submitted my apps for oxford + emory college a few weeks ago.. o.0
im gonna call them about it soon

I did some digging on the website in a section which is meant for high school counselors. They said it can often take from 2-4 weeks to get the information into the system. They advised the counselors to calm down the stressed parents and tell them to wait a little longer.

So we will wait a little longer until son calls to inquire.

if u got another saying they have ur app stuff- but u still cant get online- call- i did- they dont have the right Social Sec # for me. Oh we;; (its not like there is gunna be any left anyhow!)

yeah.. same thing for me.. they put in the wrong sss #

the ITD guy told me- but he told me to check with the U to make sure its fixed. who did u call?
Admission? Registrar?

We still don't have a letter from Emory, but when son put in his date of birth and social security # yesterday, the page spit back a password at him. It took over ten days for this to happen so they are probably getting backlogged with applications.

DPennFL- I called the number that they said to call-both in the email and letter I got in the mail. ITD I think..

What I did was go on the site that was in the letter/email and put in a request for help or something like that.. then they emailed me saying I need to call in my case- for a password.. in like 7 days.. so I called and he told me my sss# was typed in wrong and gave me my username and passw.
