Hello,

I just recently transferred to Baruch in NYC. I bought a condo. I am 20 years old. I am a junior. I work full time on the weekends.. I only get like 1-2 tests a semester so the tests are hard and intensive. I have a 3.55 GPA. I interned for a hedge fund marketing consultant and had broad overview of hedge funds and did some research for him as well. I also worked as a it audit project manager at a hotel.

I have been getting job interviews, but all the employers ask me these insane questions on hedge funds that I didn't cover in school or cover at my jobs. I really am looking more for asset management.

I spoke with an alumni (he works for Goldman). I actually had a good talk with him and I am going to meet him for lunch in a week or two. He told me that gs is not really hiring from Baruch, but to get any banking job and network my way into AM. I am trying really hard to get internships. I have been getting interviews and doing well it's just there's always somebody better.

My problem is that I have 66 credits and I am not in the business program because my accounting transferred over as managerial accounting. That is the only class I am short. I have taken upper level finance courses like investment analysis and advanced corporate finance.

What should I do???
