NEU Engineering

Hey guys, I am a rising senior highly interested in Northeastern for engineering. I have always been exteremly interested in Northeastern because of their Co-Op and location in the city of Boston ever since I began high school. I have even taken a tour of the engineering facilities and the school as a whole three times. I am interested in pursuing an electrical or mechanical engineering degree at Northeastern and while I know there is no surefire way to get accepted at any school, are there any suggestions or recommendations you can give to help give me the best chance possible? I know the normal SAT, GPA, Extracurricular statistics and feel i rank around the 50% mark when it comes to these stats, but any tips or suggestions would be greatly apprecaited!

Thanks!

Show interest. For lower tier schools, the admissions process isn’t quite as selective and if they see that you are interested and know Northeaster is your top choice, they will accept you.

You have spelled it “Northeaster” in more than one thread. How can one take your posts seriously if you can’t even spell the name of the college you are talking about?

And I am sure the OP was looking for something a bit more substantial than “show interest and they will accept you.” LOL

MrInformed seems to enjoy referring to Northeastern as a “lower tier” school.
