NEU getting in?

I'm really interested in Northeastern, I absolutely love it! I was wondering what Northeastern is mostly interested in when looking at an application. I know they look to see if the applicant attended a visit, which I have done. Would they also like me to attend an info session held at my school? Also, what else are their "hooks" in an app? Because I'd their coop program, would having background in your intended major be helpful? I have two internships this summer, at a local newspaper and at a national magazine (I'm interested in communications & business, but mostly comm). I have also gone to 3 summer programs at colleges in journalism, comm, and business. Obviously NEU looks for strong academics and test scores, but overall what do they like to see? Thanks!

It doesn’t matter if they would like for you ti attend an info session held at your school because you should (probably) go either way.

I think that background in your major would be pretty helpful. At the very least, they’ll make pretty good ECs. Internships/experience is always nice.

As long as you don’t slack off and write a good essay, you might have a pretty good chance of getting in.

Well after some research, it looks like Northeastern most important admission factors are essay and recommendations. I think you should definitley attend the info setting, so you can learn more about the university. GOOD LUCK!!
