NEU or UIUC for Computer Science

Hi,
I am an international student from Turkey and I will be majoring in Computer Science. I got accepted to both schools and I am trying to decide which one to attend.

My logic:
-NEU:
--Great location
--Co-op opportunities
--I will have a great resume by the time I graduate
-UIUC:
--In the middle of nowhere
--Has an exceptional Computer Science department
--Major companies visit the campus to recruit

Which one would you choose, and why? Do you think the extra money would worth the great location and coop? Will I have any problems going to prestigious grad schools if I choose NEU now?

Does doing co-op mean learning less in school? I am thinking that this may be a problem while applying to grad school.

Don’t think of a co-op as simply, “a job.” You’re getting real life experience in your field, which is in and of itself a learning experience, and a graduate school should recognize this. On top of that, most students at Northeastern still take 8 full semesters of classes, taking two additional semesters of co-op, so you’ll receive just as much classroom time as an undergraduate as students at any other school.
