<p>like any other school, scholarships are probably based on your entire application but im sure they place the most emphasis on your academics. not sure about whether there's a higher chance for EA or regular.</p>
<p>co-op is just a job, northeastern tries to help you find one based on what you're interested in and your major so there are co-ops available for basically anything. you just have to get hired for it.</p>
<p>the college of arts and sciences majors all have pretty flexible curriculums designed so that you can pursue a minor or even a double major if you feel you can take it on.</p>
<p>Several people have received full-tuition scholarships based primarily on volunteer work.</p>
<p>There are co-ops for journalism, but often they are unpaid (at least your first one is). That has nothing to do with neu, though. If you received an internship at the paper next to your house, it would probably be unpaid as well.</p>
