NEU RD Decisions- Future class of 2012 check in!

Well, I'll start...

1) Dec. 31st for the Common App. Nov 20-something for the supplement.
2) A few UCs, USF, and Emory, I think. I really can't remember anymore because we can't revisit the supplement, and I don't think I saved it anywhere.

1) Sometime in late September or early October
2)BU, Alfred, Christian Brothers U, Rochester Institute of Technology, Rose-Hulman, Wofford

sometime at the end of december i believe
i said bu, umass, and uconn, even though i am applying to a couple more.

app submitted 12/31

applied to our state school ed, got in with a full ride (yay)
BU
NEU
Tufts
Dartmouth (but thats out of the question even if I got in...no merit aid)

NEU first choice but I need an awesome package to attend...it would be a waste to give up a full ride

submitted 12-26 for both

did not list any other colleges.

you think they release them by school???

Most schools release decisions to the most "qualified" applicants first. I would assume the same here? No clue really.

Anyone else got questions to entertain us?

anyone try to log in to myneu lately? Last I tried it still said it couldn't resolve the account or something

hopingwaiting, looking at your list and comment about Dartmouth and Merit Aid....... Tufts doesn't give merit either. And what state school gave you a full ride? Congratulations.

thanks...yea I know Tufts doesn't either, although I didn't know that when I applied. Tufts does have tons of weird scholarships though (like to white males from Mass, or women with an interest in engineering) so there is a chance for merit aid from one of the thousands of "endowments"

omg i just got a new email and had a heart attack. it turned out to be a thingy from facebook that someone had written on my wall. grrrr

hahah twizzles the same thing just happened to me i feel your painn.

What will we do if the decisions aren't released by midnight?

storm the campus? LOL just kidding

keep waiting...

I hate to burst your bubbles but... it says decisions are released between March 15 and April 1. So if you don't get a letter tonight, it's not really Northeastern's fault. I mean they did get a crap load of apps this year.
Northeastern isn't my first choice so I'm kind of apathetic, but I know it's hell just sitting here waiting. (I applied ED to a school in a different time zone - yuck. I had to wait an extra hour.)
I suggest you guys do some homework or watch TV or eat dinner, or something. Anything! Staring at the computer monitor for hours won't speed up the process. Just check back every hour or something. And don't stress! Stressing won't change anything.
Anyway, good luck everybody

zicon, of course you make sense, speaking rationally. However, I understand how they feel. And the fact that something is going on with the application status check website being updated, it could be any minute now.

But you should all eat and do homework................. while checking online every now and then.

so 7 oclock has come and gone =(
are we hoping for 8 now? haha

HAHA I hate colleges for doing this to us!!! I wish we could find out already!!! I don't know why they can't just give us a day.... but, I do agree with the person that said they post them in the afternoon and sometimes on friday so they don't have to deal with the thousands of phone calls!!!!

so maybe tomorrow??? has anyone read "Waiting for Godot" lmao

Well the EA decisions came out on a Monday ni....ght....
