Hi everyone, I posted this in the NEU page but I just wanted to post it here to get an even idea.
I just had a quick question regarding these schools. All three schools have a business/comp-sci joint major, something that I have been extremely interested in for a long time. I was just wondering if anyone knew which of these schools would be “better” to go to if I was interested in enrolling into this program/which school is the strongest or offers the most advantages in this field of study.
I happen to have experience at both Lehigh and USC. I can’t say much about NEU but congrat that you got into some really good schools. As for Lehigh, Com Sci/Business is a really good choice, though extremely tiring (I had a couple of friends switched to either business or cs afterwards). I assume that you got into USC with a cs major. In terms of location, USC has the upper hand. Lehigh is in the middle of nowhere (1 hr to ny and 2 hr to phili). Lehigh has some close connection with the Wall Street but it depends on the path you wanna choose. CS -> USC, Business -> USC/Lehigh, but if you really value double majors, you should choose Lehigh. Anyhow, USC and Lehigh are two completely different schools. For me though, USC is a better fit cuz I am CS major and I cant stand rural areas…
You can get very well connected at USC. They really support the CS/BA ecosystem. I am not familiar with NEU. I’d suggest looking at the companies graduates of each program are employed by to see if one of the potential paths looks better to you.
