Hi, first time posting here and I'm wondering about the neuroscience programs at some East Coast schools.
What schools, particularly in the Northeast and Midatlantic, have good neuroscience (and cognitive science) programs?

I'm also wondering: I've been looking at Northeastern because I like the coop program, but I've heard that it's not a great school for research and neuroscience. Is that true, and is it worth going for the coops even if it doesn't have a great neuro program? Thank you for any help!

Check out U Rochester and U Pittsburgh. They ended up being my guy’s top two choices. He’s at U Rochester now (starting his junior year) and thoroughly enjoying it. He wasn’t sure when he started which of the two directions he would prefer - it ended up being Cognitive. Part of why he chose UR was because they had both directions to choose from.

Pitt, Bard, BC, Bowdoin, BU, Brandeis, Bucknell, Connecticut C, Cornell, Duke, Fordham, Georgetown, Mt. Holyoke, Colgate, RPI, RIT, Richmond, Rutgers, Smith, Syracuse, Temple, Vassar, Hamilton, Wake Forest, Vermont, Washington & Lee, UDelaware, some of the ivys. It’s a start.

I’m unfamiliar with the intersection of the neuro and co-op programs.
