I’m trying to decide for Purdue vs IU vs. Michigan State for my neuroscience major. I think IU is the strongest out of the three in this field but I am unsure. I am in state so I’m leaning towards IU and Purdue as of now. There are the NRC rankings but I can’t find IU or Purdue on that list, only MSU.
bump, no one?
Undergrad degrees in the hard sciences are only really useful as entry points for grad school, so if IU gets you on a good path for your PhD then go for it.
I was considering a science major prior to IU Kelley and talked to folks in the field. One MD professor said nobody much cares where you do your undergrad work, so focus on the fit of the school for you and not the ratings.
