Hello all, so I'm not sure where I'm at here. I have one year of school left before I graduate and I want to go to graduate school for Neuroscience because I am utterly and completely in love with it. Specifically, I am really fascinated by the neurodegenerative diseases. I think that I feel more drawn to the cellular/molecular side of things, but I suppose I'm still trying to figure that part out.
The issue I have is that I'm coming at neuroscience from a B.S. in psychology with a biology minor which I am afraid will put me at a serious disadvantage, I know that people go from psychology to neuroscience since the field is so cross disciplinary but do they go from psychology to molecular neuroscience as often?
I see many programs like to see calculus, physics, and organic chem which I unfortunately have not taken (math and physics because the mathematics aspect terrifies me). But I am trying to load up on biology courses, especially now that I am basically done with my psych major and can spend the next year in the science building.

My stats:
* Psychology major, biology minor
* 3.5 GPA
* Currently no research experience but I know how very important it is and am currently looking for faculty in the psych department conducting research.
* Courses taken: Behavioral statistics, physiological psychology, sensation & perception, psychopharmacology, intro bio I & II (cells & genetics and ecology & evolution), biodiversity, genetics, anatomy & physiology I
* Courses to be taken over the next 2 semesters: Cell biology, molecular biology, anatomy & physiology II, general chem I & II, molecular bio lab, and (if schedule permits) possibly endocrinology or something else.
* I am a teachers assistant in psychopharmacology
* I have not yet taken the GRE

If I left any relevant info out let me know and I'll post it.
So, do I have a chance or am I a lost cause and need to start working on other plans now?
