I am planning on majoring in neuroscience. However, I am not yet sure what career path I want to take. Can someone list possible jobs that I could maybe look into? Thanks!!

Among others…grad study in … Neurobiology; Psychology (e.g., General Clinical; Clinical Neuropsychology; Rehab Psychology; Aging; Experimental Psychology (Cognitive, Sensation & Perception, Neurobiology & Behavior); Neuro & Psycho-Pharmacology; Speech Pathology/Audiology; possibly Human Factors Engineering/Psych; possibly some areas of Linguistics; possibly some areas of Philosophy (e.g., Bioethics); possibly some areas of History & Philosophy of Science; some areas of Education Research (e.g., learning disabilities)

Admission to Medical School; Physical Therapy; Neurological Nursing programs.

Some lab tech positions, e.g., in a sleep lab/clinic

In part, the above depends on whether you do neuroscience as an interdisciplinary program, as part of a psychology program, or as part of a biology program and what supporting courses you take, e.g., Organic Chem, General Physics, etc.

Or, it could just be a liberal arts major in which you don’t go on for graduate study, in which case, it offers the same career options as most other liberal arts majors.
