Neuroscience majors (TCU, UT, UTD, vs. Trinity)

I was wondering how the neuroscience programs at TCU, UT-Austin, UT-Dallas, and Trinity University compare to each other. In particular, which program would give me the best chance to get involved in research at the undergraduate level?

At the moment, I attend a Texas community college, and intend to apply for transfer to the above schools. Currently, I intend on taking most of my science prerequisites for Neuroscience after I transfer, since I recently decided to change my intended major from psychology to neuroscience after realizing that I perform quite well in science classes and am attracted to the sciences more so than humanities. Transferring sooner would also allow me to start making faculty connections at the university level. I took more of a liberal arts track at my CC, with a year of majors biology, one semester of intro psychology, and some math under my belt (up to the pre-calculus level by the time I transfer with intention to take Calculus at university), not intending to switch to a science field originally.

Ultimately, at the graduate school level or beyond, I would want to get involved in autism research and also use neuroscientific principles to create a teaching method (for "neurotypical" youth) that would require few resources and help improve academic achievement in primary and secondary schools.

A big research university, of course. Much more resources and opportunities.
The best one on the list is UT Austin.

My 18yo made the same search and decided on UT Dallas. After her first semester there, she decided to switch her major from Neuroscience to Speech Pathology. I think UT Dallas is a great choice, especially if you are interested in autism research. The Callier Center is on the edge of campus and offers a lot of possibilities.
