Does anyone know how good the neuroscience program at Syracuse is?

buuuuummmmmppppp

Don’t know. What are the other schools you’re looking at?

my list is dartmouth, johns hopkins, boston university, drexel, wpi, suny buffalo, and stony brook. I plan on double majoring in both neuroscience and biomed engineering. I’ve already been accepted at drexel, uvm, wpi, and stony brook.

Syracuse invited me to apply for the coronat scholarship so I want to take a look at the program there more seriously. I think it’s only like a year old.

Check out your potential research opportunities at all of your accepted colleges. If you get into an honors program, that would be a plus from many angles. My son is waiting on BU and accepted at Pitt, which is a top notch neuro program. We thought about 'Cuse but we didn’t have much info about it. Stony Brook’s hospital is top notch. Any school in Boston is good because it’s a hub of neuro. Hope someone from 'Cuse chimes in.

Yeah, I SU’s neuroscience program is fairly new. It’s an integrated learning major so you have to take with something else. My main major is biomedical engineering. I’ve been accepted to all of my schools so far except for Dartmouth, Johns Hopkins, and Boston University. I got deferred by dartmouth during ED so we’ll see how that goes.
