<p>Good information about Pitt’s NS program and honors college. My son got accepted there but is waiting for RD from Boston U. and NYU. Any information on how those three compare, especially in terms of research opportunities for undergrads?</p>
<p>[Neuroscience</a> Undergraduate Program](<a href=“Home - CAS - Undergraduate Neuroscience Program”>http://www.unp.uab.edu/) UAB… has wonderful medical/science programs. they have both undergrad and grad programs in neuroscience. check out their nih funding for research (higher than harvard). It is about 17000 students. not a traditional campus although they are trying to make it for “campusy”… new dorms, incredible student center. Great merit aid, with identifiable criteria ie certain gpa and test scores…you know how much you will get. Application takes only a few minutes, know if accepted within a few weeks. Wonderful sci/tech honors program that allows research as a freshman (my son is already involved in 2 research areas and will publish this year)
