Neuroscience vs. Biomedical Engineering

Hello. I am currently a prospect student of Boston University’s class of 2017. Unfortunately, I am facing internal conflict over what I should be my major. As you probably presumed from the title, I am indecisive over whether I should major in biomedical engineering or neuroscience. I love both field practically equally. However, I feel bound to choose one. Anyways, I was wondering if you guys could tell me about the attractiveness of both fields at the university and how strong each department is. If you have any experiences with the field and their respective professors, please feel free to tell me about them. Thanks! :)

Could you also tell me about how respectable each department is from the perspective of people outside the university?

bump…

Go with Biomedical engineering, its a broader field than neuro which means more jobs. The competition is extreme in neuroscience field. Its almost impossible to get a job in neuro with undergrad degree. It hard for biomedical eng too but not impossible. Get a masters and many doors will open. (for BME)

Post this in engineering thread for more reliable answers.
