Neuroscience vs. Human biology

Hello!

In the fall I am going to Lyman Briggs College at MSU and I know I want to go into medicine and I know I either want to major in human biology or neuroscience. Also, I know eventually I want to be a primary care pediatrician. I was looking at the required courses in each major and they were similar but both of them were missing some med school requirement(I was looking at the MSU D.O school requirements). The neuroscience major was missing biochem and a few other courses while Human Biology was missing genetics and behavioral sciences. I find neuroscience to be very interesting but not to the point that I want to pursue be a neurologist. Unfortunately, MSU doesn't offer a minor in either one of those. Majoring in which would be more beneficial for my future? Is one "harder" than the other?

It all depends on what the requirements for each major are and which requirements are more interesting to you. You said they were pretty similar, so what courses would be different between the two majors? Which courses would you rather take?

Whichever major you pick shouldn’t matter, and whether one is harder than another just depends on what courses they require and whether you consider those courses to be harder.
