Hey guys,

I was accepted to a bunch of univs. Of these, I'm left to decide between Wellesley and UPenn. I'm majoring in neuroscience and really want to do a lot of research and distinguish myself. After undergrad, I want to go to the best grad school there is for neuroscience. I can do close work with my professors at Wellesley, but I could get a lot of scholarships and awards at Penn. What do you guys think?

Go for Penn. I'm hopelessly biased of course. But in addition to having the greater resources of a huge university with one of the world's finest med schools, Penn has also realized this can be daunting and hard to navigate.

To facilitate the process, Penn created the [url=http://www.upenn.edu/curf/]Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships/url. It should help you immensely.

Wellesley has a much better opportunity for undergraduate research, at larger places like UPenn the focus is on the grad students, here at Wellesley it's ALL about the undergrads :)

You should come visit! We're having Spring Open Campus April 17th-19th :)

If you have any other questions about Wellesley I'd be happy to answer them :)

Send an email to the undergraduate advisor for the neuroscience major at each college, ask a few questions, or call the department. Go directly to the source and ask.
