Neuroscience

Hello, everybody. I am a rising senior and I hope to eventually become a neuroscientist. I am not quite sure how to go about it, though. For example, should I major in neuroscience as an undergraduate or simply use a pre-med track to set me up for neuroscience in medical school? If a school that I want to apply to does not offer a neuroscience major, what should I choose to major in to best prepare me for a career in neuroscience (for example, biology or chemistry)? I would really appreciate it if somebody could tell me what to do. Thank you.
