OH MY. My D applied via common app in mid october. We just realized that we should receive a confirmation of application in mail with id and login. Has any one received theirs yet?

I received my admissions login (for https://webapp.spire.umass.edu/admis...app_logon.html) probably 2-4 weeks after submitting my common app. They also sent me three informative booklets a short while after. You definitely should have received at least your admissions login info. I would definitely give their admissions office a call if you haven’t received that.

(Sorry, just copied my post from http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-massachusetts-amherst/1042621-those-who-applied.html since I’m lazy)

Thanks. Called this morning and was told everything was received and a login id would be emailed

Glad to hear that nothing bad happened! Good luck to your daughter. :)

They received application and materials at the end of October. Received an email on Nov 12th saying they are backlogged, wait 3-4 weeks, which would end today, still nothing and with early action I am supposed to find out at the end of December. Interesting.

I am an international, and I received my login credentials three weeks ago.

I got a confirmation Email on October 31st from CommonApp that i sent it. I never got an email with login credentials though. Should i call them?

You probably should, Bag3ls. Although it’s not really a big deal since (according to last year’s early admissions thread) you should probably get your admission decision mailed some time in this upcoming week. The people in that thread also said that they got their physical letter a week or two before the online status changed. It’s up to you though.

EDIT: Never mind, i found the letter. I just never got an email from them. thanks.

Ah, yes, I totally missed that part in your post. They physically mail out the admissions login info. I kind of wish they would email it though.
