Never taken physics before..How well could I do?

Well, just today, I was told to take the physics subject test despite the fact that I had never even taken a physics course. I was wondering if it is possible to get a high score by just using test books (Barrons,PR, etc.) I heard the curve is pretty easy. Is it doable to get a 700+ by self-studying and no prior exposure to physics?

Thanks.

I took the test after a year of honors physics that only covered half the material, so I had to teach myself a lot. I got an 800. It really depends on how good you are at teaching yourself. If you’re good at understanding things on your own and are willing to put in the time, 700+ is definitely realistic.

Well, how much time is needed to prepare well for this test? I haven’t planned getting a second subject, but I see some of my target universities require 2 subject tests this year. I have A’s in class but I am not so good at physics. Please answer because it is very important.
