Never too late to try...right?

Hey guys!

So this summer I really wanted to do something more meaningful than staying around the home all day. I know it missed a lot of program deadlines already, but I was wondering if any of you could recommend some summer programs/opportunities we aren't too late to apply for.

I applied to a few programs (Clark Scholars, BOA) but in most cases my application was hastily made and I lack a solid science research background so I'm not sure I'll actually get in. My goal was to attend a low-cost program (or internship) that would be ideally residential at a university. However, seeing as I've probably missed most of those, I'm now looking for anything that'll make my summer more meaningful. If there aren't any summer programs left, I was also thinking about volunteering abroad but couldn't find any low-cost legitimate opportunities (suggestions anyone??)

As far as application goes, I'd love one that takes academic stats into a good deal of consideration. I'm class rank 1, all A's in all APs, 2400 SAT score.

Any ideas for how I should be spending my summer??

Well, you can get into most university pre-college programs if you pay the tuition … but you wanted low-cost, right? That’s pretty hard at this time, I think.

Really, I’d like to know the same thing as you–I have some recommendation letters left from a teacher who gave me a few extra copies (I told her I was applying to a lot of programs … :P) and would like to give myself some backups.
