<p>I picked Miami over CMU... financially makes more sense as CMU's tuition skyrockets and Miami gives me a 24k / year scholarship. Plus, CMU didn't have meteorology... but still some people call me crazy for taking the less "prestigious" route. But everyone's individual choices revolve around reasons that pertain only to that person. So, call me crazy, but I'm going to Miami next year over CMU.</p>

Anyways i wouldnt feel ashamed either. Miami is no duck walk either to get into. its still a top nationally ranked school and u should still get some excellent jobs out of Miami.</p>
<p>lol acarta07, i thought cmu was named a 'new ivy' not that it's realllly an ivy league but it's technically as hard as them (which of course it def. is lol.)</p>
