New Admit: Easy to switch majors?

I was admitted to UCSD as a bioengineering major. Now Im thinking of changing majors (probably to something else within the engineering department)...is that all that possible? can I do it before classes start?

Go to [UC San Diego Current Students](Current Students) On the side, there’s a button that says “Major/Minor”. Click on it log in and change your major. Since you’re in an impacted major already, it will be really easy for you to switch to pretty much anything (especially since you’re a new admit). If you’re switching into another impacted major, it’ll probably take longer to confirm your change but impacted majors switching to another impacted majors usually have no problems. I know I changed mine during the summer before school started. Not quite sure if you can switch right now since admissions just rolled out.

I’ll swap with you. -_-
I applied bioengineering and got admitted “undeclared”
Does anyone know, what are the chances I’ll be able to complete a bioengineering major? It’s really the only thing I want.
If I were you I wouldn’t be worrying about switching OUT of an impacted major. It should be pretty easy.

Are you enrolled? I think you have to be enrolled before you can switch.
