New Admits 2017-18

I was recently accepted to U of T St. George! I’m so excited! I was wondering who else had gotten in and to what colleges, I got into Trinity.

Omg congrats! I’m from the US but I’m a a Canadian citizen and I was accepted yesterday to St. Micheal’s college for social sciences. Are you a Canadian applicant

I’m a US applicant and applied but haven’t heard back yet. How long did it take for you to receive a decision after all your documents were received/reviewed?

All of my documents were received and reviewed around January 10th, so about two weeks.

I am also a Canadian citizen living in the US, so I am an international applicant. I submitted everything around the start of Christmas break and they received and reviewed everything around the 12th and I heard on the 20th, my application went under review 2 days before.

Ayy I got into UofTSG and Trinity today as well (somehow, even with really a really bad first essay and a mediocre second essay).

Do any of you know if residence is guaranteed all the way up to the May 1st acceptance deadline? I’m still waiting on Cornell, UMich, and CMU.

Yeah they said residence is guaranteed until May 1

@SchoolShooter do you mind me asking about your username?

I got my acceptance yesterday!!! I’m going to be studying Computer Science at the Faculty of Arts and Science at St. George Campus!!! (US citizen from NJ). I’m at woodsworth

My app is under review now so I’m expecting to hear back soon! Is anyone else applying for the Pearson scholarship?

Well since I have dual citizenship for the US and CAN I will be exempt from the international tuition and will pay the domestic fee. I don’t think I qualify to apply for the scholarship.

@lunamir My S got his acceptance into Victoria. He’s applied for the Pearson Scholarship. We are from the US.

Did your guys’ schools need to submit an official mid-year report to get acceptance? I’m worried because my school’s official half-year grades don’t come out until March, and I ideally would like to have my decision by then or shortly after.

@ghvan99 That was my worry as well? but I was accepted without sending in my mid year report.

@barney112 did you apply for early consideration?

Hey guys! Congrats!
Can somebody tell me exactly what marks I need to maintain in my finals? Conditional offer here! (International Student)
Ps- my 11th finals and 12th midterms were above 85% but below 90%

@ghvan99 I’m not really sure, I submitted my application in early December so I guess that could be considered as early consideration.

@barney112 I think early was Nov 1, thanks for letting me know!

Got my acceptance email this morning to Innis College
